VITARAN A 2.5% Retinol Serum
- What is Retinol?
Retinol, also known as vitamin A, is a vitamin that helps in the renewal of skin cells and the proliferation of collagen. It exfoliates the skin and increases the production of collagen. As a result, your skin looks fresher and more radiant.
Retinol has been found to be very effective in the treatment of fine lines, in the correction of UV damage, and in the lightening of dark spots.
Not only does retinol help in the correction of fine lines, but it also helps in the prevention of premature skin ageing.
Studies have shown that the use of long-term skin care products with retinol significantly reduces the appearance of wrinkles; the results can be seen in as little as one month of use.
Besides the anti-aging properties, Retinol helps in the treatment of acne and the fading of acne marks. It helps in the metabolism of keratinocytes, and in the reduction of oil secretion and in the shrinking of pores due to its ability to metabolize the keratinocytes.
PDRN (Proteins derived from Salmon) is the active ingredient in Vitaran A. It is also known as PDRN.
Caution:
- You should begin with a lower dose and keep a close eye on your skin for reactions. It takes time for the skin to become accustomed to retinol and initial sensitivity and skin peeling can occur, so it’s important to monitor your skin’s skin adaptation before changing your dose. If skin sensitivity persists, you may want to reduce your retinol dose.
-
For optimal results, it is advised to apply retinol once daily in the evening, using a thin layer for each application. It’s important to note that the skin requires an adjustment period, and although increasing the concentration and frequency may speed up the process, it can also result in heightened sensitivity and redness.
